First Literacy’s
ABE Teachers’ Circles provide opportunities for ABE teachers to learn from one another as well as from other professionals in the field. Each two-hour Circle, organized around a topic chosen by teachers, includes a brief instructional presentation followed by ample time for teachers to exchange ideas and resources with one another. A half hour of informal networking is scheduled before each Circle formally begins.

ABE Teachers’ Circle #2
The February ABE Teachers' Circle will explore the pressing need to connect ABE students to work experiences and training programs that can expand their job readiness and job advancement skills. (This topic received the highest number of votes at the December, 2016 Teachers' Circle.)

This teachers' circle is free to staff of all non-profit ABE programs.
